This Thanksgiving, the Kleinmahons have a lot to be thankful for. In addition to our amazing daughter, we have a (hopefully equally amazing) son on the way! CPK is going to be a Mardi Gras baby and is due 2 days after Fat Tuesday. (Sorry to anyone who was planning on visiting for Mardi Gras weekend) This gives us about 2 months to transform guest room #2 into a dinosaur themed wonderland.

Isabel is not exactly sure how to take this news or if she likes the idea of having a younger brother. When we first told her, she said very directly “I don’t want a brother”… But it was in an adorable way so we laughed and moved on. Also, Connor doesn’t come with a very good return policy so she was stuck with him.

Slowly but surely we are getting the message through. She now acknowledges that she’s going to be a big sister and have a baby brother, but, she pauses and changes the subject when we ask if she’s going to be nice to him. Baby steps I guess.
